iPhone 4S Battery Problem Solution Coming

Apple's new iPhone 4S has been dogged with draining battery faults affecting a large percentage of users.
Instead of the up to 8 hours talk time promised by the company, the world's most popular Smartphone users soon discovered that their iPhone batteries were draining in a fraction of that time.

The blame has been placed firmly at the door of the new iOS5 which powers the iPhone 4S. Some users had added the new iOS5 to their older iPhone 4 Smartphones, only to see them develop a similar issue.

The problem has only come to light since a forum poster made a comment on Apple's forum about a battery problem on October 15th.
By yesterday, the comments had grown to 217 pages!

The iPhone 4S was only released on October 14th, 2011.

Apple had strenuously denied a design flaw, but users discovered that by disconnecting the iPhone 4S's automatic time update function, their battery life lengthened considerably, but not to the rate promised by Apple.

Later yesterday Apple finally acknowledged that there is a problem specifically with the new iOS5, and that a software fix will become available within weeks.
